About this Treatment

As early as your 30’s your lips start to get paler and the sharpness of the border starts to diminish– causing your lips to lose their definition. During your 40’s the volume of them reduces, the cupid’s bow flattens out and eventually gravity naturally occurs and causes the corners of your mouth to drop.

Getting the perfect lip shape in your everyday routine is time consuming and something that you have to do repeatedly throughout the day. If you want your lips to have a long–lasting lip enhancer that takes the hassle out of wearing a lip-liner and lipstick try our Permanent Lip Enhancer treatment.

This is great for people with thin or uneven lips, or lips that have lost shape with age, as it helps to create a perfect shape and add the look of volume without fillers!

To apply semi permanent lip colour we use a device similar to a tattoo machine, but with ultra-fine needles and which works at a lower speed. A permanent lip tint that helps to correct imperfections, adds volume, has anti ageing effects whilst looking natural.

We can tailor your treatment to ensure you achieve your desired look; whether that’s with the tone, or the application of lip liner, lip blush or full lip colour. Anaesthetic is applied throughout, helping to give you as little discomfort as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is suitable for semi permanent lip colour?

Anyone who is unhappy with the shape of their lips, or wants to eradicate the need for daily applications of lipstick, may be suitable for this treatment. A pre-treatment assessment will help to outline any contraindications.

Is semi permanent lip colour safe?

Charmaine Harding is a licensed professional, and she performs this treatment safely and effectively. We may not recommend you have this treatment if you have a compromised immune system, may be pregnant, are breastfeeding or are undergoing chemotherapy.

Is semi permanent lip colour painful?

The lips are a sensitive feature which may mean you feel some slight discomfort as semi permanent lip colour is applied. We will administer a mild local anaesthetic prior to treatment, which will be topped during the procedure if necessary.

Are there any side effects or risks?

The lips may feel a little tender after the treatment. We also expect itching, redness and some very slight swelling to occur which will settle fairly quickly. The colouring may also take some time to develop properly as any bruising or redness subsides.

What results can I expect?

The colour of your lips will be seen immediately and the results can last for up to 3 years. Semi permanent lip colour can provide long lasting colour to help enhance their appearance, making them look fuller, as well as complementing your smile.
