When you book a consultation at Beau Boutique Salon, we’ll ask you to attend a consultation. This one-to-one session will help us to determine if you’re a suitable candidate, as we’ll discuss your expectations and medical history.
Many different hair and skin types are found to be suitable for this treatment, and we can even treat pregnant and breastfeeding women.
We apply a pre-wax oil to the chosen area prior to treatment. This acts as a protective barrier that helps to minimise any potential discomfort.
The skin may feel a little sensitive following the treatment. There is a very slight risk of in-growing hairs or breakouts of spots, but we’ll ensure all potential risks have been discussed before we go ahead.
The outcome is instant, which is expected to last for up to 4 weeks. Maintaining smooth, hair-free skin may require regular visits to our salon, usually every 3-4 weeks.
